2021 Arkana Styling
The upcoming 2021 Renault Arkana will look modern and stylish. We like the first details about SUV’s design. In our opinion, Arkana looks better than the Kadjar that it replaces. It is a recognizable Renault’s design, so Arkana won’t arrive with something innovative and unique. However, this SUV comes with beautiful styling and a more athletic stance.
The front part hosts slimmer LED headlights, while the grille is already familiar. A bumper-mounted plate is a brand-new feature, and the rear part comes with the full length LED light strip. The side profile is sportier, and we like premium 19-inch alloy wheels.
Interior Specs
On the inside, the new 2021 Renault Arkana is surprisingly premium and comfortable. We say that because some other SUVs in the segment are costing more and are not that modern. It comes with a smart interior layout and plenty of room for all of the occupants. Comfort is good, and we think Arkana is one very practical model. All of the controls are easy to use, and there will be room for five passengers. We don’t know the trim level lineup, but even the base trim looks promising.
Upper trim levels will surely deliver even more upscale materials. The dashboard comes with a cleaner design, and a 9.3-inch touchscreen is offered as standard. Renault will provide a new Bose sound system as well. Ambient lighting looks perfect, and it is an optional feature. The range-topping model will arrive with leather seats and a fully digital instrument cluster.
Two Engine Options
Interestingly, the 2021 Renault Arkana will be mechanically the same as the Dacia Duster model. Two models are sharing plenty of similarities, including the platform and engine lineup. A front-wheel-drive setup is offered as standard. A 1.3-liter gasoline engine is the base engine choice, and it generates 148 horses.
A 1.6-liter will be optional, and it will deliver better fuel efficiency than the standard powertrain option. Like Duster, Arkana will also offer both manual and automatic transmission. The choice has come down to either CVT or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
2021 Renault Arkana Release Date and Price
The approaching five-seat SUV replaces the Kadjar model. New 2021 Renault Arkana definitely looks better and more modern. Its price should start at around $22,000. It is a good SUV that isn’t far from more established models such as Mazda CX-30 or Kia Seltos.
