The forthcoming 2021 GMC Yukon Denali will arrive with drastic changes and upgrades. According to the latest spy shots, this SUV will be the next-gen model, and it will look better than ever. Interestingly, the regular Yukon will get the same updates as the Denali trim level. Of course, Denali is the most premium version you can get, so it comes with different features and more uniqueness.
Interior is full of premium features, and that will improve for 2021. As for the performances, General Motors refused to provide closer details. A new powertrain is a possibility, but it is perhaps too early to speculate. The sales will start in the coming months, and the price will be slightly increased.
2021 Yukon Denali Redesign
Like the base trim level, the new 2021 GMC Yukon Denali will get the same type of updates. For a start, this premium SUV will offer new C-shaped taillights. While the shape remains, taillights are brand-new and are looking more eye-catching. The rear part definitely looks more distinctive than before, and the front part will follow the same way.
The front fascia looks more upscale thanks to additional chrome accents and slightly more aggressive appearance. The side profile will remain stylish, and GM will offer new 20-inch chrome wheels. Denali comes with a hands-free tailgate system, and you can still buy optional packages such as Ultimate or Black Edition.
Interior Changes
The interior of the 2021 GMC Yukon Denali will get a complete revamp. While this is not confirmed yet by General Motors. However, various reliable reports are predicting significant interior changes for the Yukon SUV. The new interior will get the latest infotainment system and larger touchscreen options. Denali trim will add more luxury than ever before.
There will be room for eight passengers, and the Denali variant comes with standard leather seats with contrast stitching. Moreover, a leather-wrapped steering wheel is in the offer as well. GM offers a stop/start system, a redesigned dashboard, and much more. The center stack will completely change as well, but we’ll have to wait for GM to release official details.
Engine Specs
While the base trim level comes with a 5.3-liter V8, the new 2021 GMC Yukon Denali will deploy a larger 6.2-liter V8 engine. Yukon will produce 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. That is significantly more than the base engine that generates 355 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of twisting power. However, many customers would be interested to see something more powerful.
That’s when the rumors about a new and more potent unit started. However, GM is refusing to provide any details. New Yukon Denali will offer a 10-speed automatic transmission and a standard AWD system. Moreover, GM offers automatic locking rear differential and magnetic ride control systems.
