Some exterior updates are visible on the other hand. For the start, Trax will grow in size, but not significantly. Changes of dimensions mean new Trax will ride on the current Gamma-2 platform that was slightly tweaked.
Another possibility is the all-new architecture, possibly the VSS-S platform. As you can see, most of the innovative styling cues are very similar to the Chevy Blazer model. The rear window is almost the same, along with the C-pillar. Taillights will grow in size as well. The small slope on the roof will remain. Also, the front end gets enlarged features too.
2020 Chevy Trax Interior Updates
Current Trax model already arrived with numerous interior changes. The 2020 Chevy Trax will get latest updates in terms of technology. Also, the interior will offer more space than before thanks to the dimensional changes. Apart from that, the interior will stay intact. Special Editions
The all-new 2020 Chevy Trax will offer numerous optional equipment and packages. However, customers are extremely interested in special editions. Trax will offer two of them. A Midnight Edition is available on the Trax Premier model only. It comes with the Metallic Black exterior paint and all-black 18-inch alloy wheels. To be exact, everything on this edition is black, which includes door handles, bowties, and moldings.
Even the interior offers black floor mats with silver accents. Two-Tone leather seats are finished in Black and Light Titanium colors. The Redline Edition is available on LT trim level. This edition offers more or less the same blacked-out features. However, you can find plenty of red stripes and accents. Also, this edition is available in numerous exterior colors.
Single Engine Option
Under the hood, the 2020 Chevy Trax will keep its 1.4-liter engine. The four-cylinder drivetrain is, unfortunately, the only engine choice. It produces 140 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. While not that strong, 1.4-liter engine is delivering 25 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. Front-wheel-drive configuration is available as standard.
2020 Chevy Trax Price and Release Date
The forthcoming 2020 Chevy Trax will cost around $23,000. Range-topping Premier model will be priced at over $30,000. The compact SUV will go on sale in the second half of 2019.
