New 2022 Lincoln Aviator will arrive with additional changes and upgrades. Lincoln is known for building luxury SUVs and Aviator is generally the smaller version of the Navigator SUV. Despite its smaller dimensions, Aviator will provide a spacious cabin with plenty of luxury and great comfort. The styling is impressive, no matter which trim level you opt for.
Aviator competes with models such as Volvo XC90 and BMW X5. Thanks to that, Lincoln will deliver a hybrid powertrain option, which is the most important novelty. Aviator SUV is a unique model with so much to offer and a new model will be even better.
2022 Aviator Redesign
The 2022 Lincoln Aviator will arrive with an improved exterior design. The current version already looks amazing, but the new one will be even better. The manufacturer will upgrade some exterior parts, mostly the front fascia. The front section now comes with a revised grille and headlights. As before, Aviator rides on its standard 19-inch alloy wheels.
Of course, you can opt for bigger and optional wheels. In our opinion, each trim level is both unique and impressive. The rear section will gain a sportier look, especially with the quad exhaust tips. If you want the best-possible variant, Monochromatic Reserve Package will get you there. This package comes with astonishing 22-inch alloy wheels, body-colored features, and unique exterior paints.
Interior Refreshments
On the inside, the 2022 Lincoln Aviator will offer an even higher level of luxury. Aviator is a very premium SUV with plenty of standard features and great comfort. The 2022MY comes with tri-zone automatic climate control and a 10.1-inch touchscreen. Lincoln also offers features such as ambient interior lighting, a premium sound system, and much more.
Aviator is a three-row SUV, but the cabin is spacious enough, despite its smaller dimensions. Basically, if Navigator SUV is too big for you, Aviator is a perfect alternative. The manufacturer will also deliver an improved Co-Pilot 360 system so new driver-assistance aids will be in the offer.
Aviator and Aviator Grand Touring Specs
The next 2022 Lincoln Aviator will offer two engine options. The base model will once again deploy a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 400 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. A ten-speed automatic transmission is available as standard, just like the rear-wheel-drive setup. The all-wheel-drive system is optional once again. The second powertrain is a hybrid.
It is an important upgrade for Aviator SUV. The Grand Touring trim is the one that offers hybrid power. Lincoln will combine a 3.0-liter V6 with an electric motor. Total output is rated at 494 horsepower and Aviator Grand Touring will provide 21 miles of all-electric driving range.
2022 Lincoln Aviator Release Date, Price
The price of the new 2022 Lincoln Aviator will start at around $52,000. It is a minor price increase, given the number of updates. The famous Black Label trim level is available for $80,000.
The Grand Touring hybrid variant will start at $69,000. The sales will begin in the later stages of 2021. However, if the Coronavirus outbreak continues, then the quarter of 2022 is the most likely launch date.
