The forthcoming 2022 Jeep Wagoneer is coming to the markets as an all-new SUV. It will be the most luxurious model in the brand’s lineup and Jeep revealed it yesterday. It is a body-on-frame SUV with an independent rear suspension. On top of that, it comes with a hybrid powertrain setup and it offers room for seven or eight passengers.
Towing capacity is great and generally, performances are amazing. The interior is very premium and it provides a lot of tech. You can order the new Wagoneer model now and the deliveries will begin this summer. The price will start at around $58k.
2022 Wagoneer Looks Astonishing
The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are truck-based SUVs. Wagoneer is a luxury model, longer than the Grand Cherokee L by ten inches. Jeep did a great job in delivering the original Wagoneer’s design from the 60s. Of course, the new model is more modern and elegant. The vehicle’s shape is recognizable, with the larger windows and famous seven-slot grille.
Wagoneer was known for its wood paneling on the side, but the new model won’t offer one. Instead, Jeep opted for unique wheel arches, a nice beltline, LED headlights, LED taillights, and a hands-free power liftgate. The manufacturer will offer standard 20-inch wheels, while the 22-inch rims are optional. Finally, you can opt for numerous optional packages, such as an all-terrain package.
Interior Full of High-Tech Features
The interior of the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer will look closer to the original Wagoneer. The goal is to deliver straight-forward ideas with artful design and plenty of high-quality materials. That includes wood accents, leather seats, and plenty of metal. Thanks to that, Wagoneer became the brand’s most luxury vehicle. It comes with Nappa leather upholstery, a digital instrument cluster, and a one-piece dashboard. A 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen is standard and it comes with the next-gen Uconnect5 system.
The Wagoneer SUV offers eight seats, but a seven-seat Wagoneer is available as well. The interior room is generous. The third-row offers 36 inches of legroom and 39 inches of headroom. Still, the strongest point of this interior is its amazing high-tech department. The 2022 Wagoneer comes with a 19-speaker sound system, new Tom-Tom navigation, eight USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and brand-new Fire TV.
eTorque V8 Provides a Lot of Power
The brand-new 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer comes with a 5.7-liter eTorque V8. It is a hybrid powertrain option with a 48-volt mild-hybrid setup. Thanks to that, Wagoneer will develop around 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. The performances are great and this SUV is also able to tow up to 10,000 pounds.
An eight-speed automatic transmission is available as well. As we said, Wagoneer is a truck-based body-on-frame SUV and it comes with an independent rear suspension. The Grand Wagoneer variant will use a larger 6.4-liter V8 with 471 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque.
2022 Jeep Wagoneer Price, Release Date
