2021 Encore Gets Minor Facelift and New Colors

Indeed, some parts are wearing cheap plastics, but most of the cabin is looking great. Buick offers a combination of cloth and leatherette upholstery, and the comfort is excellent.
Encore crossover is tech-rich, even in its base trim level. The manufacturer will offer a standard eight-inch touchscreen, and the interior room is generous for the subcompact crossover segment. There are 18.9 cubic feet of cargo space. Fold the rear seats, and Encore will provide up to 48.4 cubic feet of cargo room. You can also fold the front seats in order to accommodate longer items.
Engine Specs
The subcompact crossover rides on the same 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine can produce 138 horsepower and up to 150 lb-ft of torque. Buick provides a six-speed automatic gearbox that provides smooth shifting. Front-wheel-drive remains standard, but you can get an optional AWD system.
While it isn’t the most powerful crossover, Encore delivers 30 mpg on the highway. Moreover, Buick will look to improve fuel efficiency by a small margin. Some reports are suggesting a hybrid version for 2021, but that won’t happen in the near future.
2021 Buick Encore Price and Release Date
The price will start at $23,500, which is more than affordable. The 2021 Buick Encore also offers the Preferred trim level that will cost slightly above $25,000. The subcompact crossover will rival Mazda CX-30 and the new Kia Seltos. The sales will start by the end of the year. Most likely, Buick will launch a new crossover this fall.
