2020 Hyundai Venue: Changes, Fuel Efficiency, Release Date

Last year, Hyundai released its Venue model. It is a subcompact crossover that gained instant success. Now, the 2020 Hyundai Venue is about to arrive with further improvements. Venue will slot below Kona model in terms of dimensions. The design looks modern, upscale and adorably compact. However, its compact dimensions are offering a surprisingly generous interior room.

On the other hand, Venue offers a room for four adult persons. The cabin is stylish and optional features will provide you more luxury. Under the bonnet, a new 2020 Venue will be a carryover. That means a 1.6-liter engine is still available. This compact crossover provides solid performances and the focus is on the fuel efficiency. Interestingly, Venue will offer a manual transmission once again.

2020 Venue Exterior Facelift

New 2020 Hyundai Venue is a subcompact crossover. Dimensionally, Venue slots below the Kona model and it is five inches shorter. Whatsoever, this crossover is smaller than the Accent model. It comes with a 99.2 inches long wheelbase. Visually, the 2020 Venue will get small improvements. Company’s design language is easy to spot and most of the styling cues are borrowed. For the start, headlights and daytime running lights are taken from the Hyundai’s larger crossovers.

Venue rides on 15-inch wheels while the 17-inch rims are optional. The front part will wear a recognizable waterfall-shaped grille once again. We like the Venue’s high-contrast exterior paints. That includes colors such as Scarlet Red, Green Apple, and Intense Blue. All three colors can be paired with the white roof. On top of that, a two-tone color scheme is also available. If you opt for one, you will get white roof rails and white side mirrors.

However, folding the rear seat opens up 32 cubic feet of cargo space. You can choose between the black or gray interior scheme. On the other hand, optional leather upholstery is available in Denim color. Comfort is great and the interior is cozy and practical.

Venue will offer a tech-rich cabin with plenty of safety systems and driver-assistance features. That includes amenities such as lane control, adaptive cruise control and driver-attention monitor. An 8-inch infotainment screen remains standard. Of course, you can opt for a larger and optional display. The base model offers Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and USB ports as standard. Fuel-Efficient Four-Cylinder

Under the hood, things will stay intact. That means a 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine is available once again. The same engine can be found under the bonnet of the Accent model. The 2020 Hyundai Venue is not about the power. Whatsoever, Hyundai tried to deliver a fuel-efficient subcompact crossover. And it was a success. The four-cylinder unit generates 121 horsepower and 115 lb-ft of torque.

The 2019 Venue delivers 33 mpg combined. New Venue could maybe reach 34 miles per gallon. You can buy an optional AWD setup and the fuel economy will drop down to 31 mpg. Still, if you want to spare money on fuel, the Venue is the right choice.
