Recently Jeep revealed their newest creation, it is an all new 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It was revealed not so long ago, April 2022, planned release is not far away either. Grand Wagoneer plans to continue in the footsteps of its previous versions. This SUV looks like there are actually two SUVs put together. That is how ridiculously big it is. This, of course is not a bad thing, a big SUV is just what some people need.

Grand Wagoneer is one of the most luxurious and one of the biggest SUVs on the market. This SUV offers a lot of cargo space and passenger space. It is quite long so some people will find it difficult to maneuver in tight spaces. Probably due to its blocky design and length it doesn’t have the best fuel economy rating as well.

Compared to the previous version, there are changes both in the cabin and outside. But changes didn’t stop there , there are some new improvements under the hood. The price might be more steep than other SUVs but Grand Wagoneer proves it is worthy of such a price tag.

2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Interior

The 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is truly grand. It is almost unnecessary how big it is. But you won’t hear passengers complaining about that. None of the eight possible passengers. Yes, exactly, the Wagoneer can seat up to eight people without any issues. There is 40.9 inches of legroom in the first row, 42.7 in the second and 36.6 inches in the third row. Behind each of those rows is cargo space, 27.4 cubic feet behind the first row. Behind the second one we have 70.9 cubic feet and 94.2 cubic feet in the back.

The Grand Wagoneer L version has even more cargo space. The refreshed 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is all about style and luxury, and space of course. When you take a look inside the Wagoneer you see that Jeep didn’t spare any expense. Hence the hefty price tag which now makes sense since you see how the interior looks. It is covered with wooden and metal accents.

This is as luxurious as it gets for SUVs. All upholstery is hand treated, you can choose leather, faux, suede and fabric. There is contrast stitching to add some style to an already great looking cabin. In addition to that these seats are cushioned and padded which improves comfort. We almost forgot that they are heated and ventilated as well. All this put together equals long comfortable rides without any back pain. There are buttons and knobs so not everything is fully digital

However we have an all digital dashboard which is a nice step up in technology. Buttons are present on the steering wheel as well. This adds to the safety aspect of the Wagoneer. By adding these buttons, Jeep makes sure you don’t have to take your eyes off the road and put yourself and your passengers in potential danger.

The infotainment system is a 14 inch touchscreen in the middle of the instrument panel. There is also a panoramic roof to make sure you don’t miss any breathtaking views while on night and starry drives. The safety aspect is also better by adding artificial intelligence which can warn you of incoming collisions or pedestrians. Systems like these ensure safety of both passengers and people on the street. The cabin looks like a first class seat, and this is by design since Jeep prides itself on making luxurious interiors.

Redesign

On the outside, 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer doesn’t look any less spectacular. Although it doesn’t have that sleek modern design. Instead it looks blocky and enormous, because it is huge obviously. It is 226.7 inches long. But not everyone is looking for those modern looking curved SUVs. Wheels are looking the part with the choice of 20 inches up to 22 inches alloys. Which are lightweight of course to try and save some weight and improve performance.

The front fascia is strangely not huge. It has lightweight mesh on the front for air intake and cooling the engine. Headlights are thin and linear, of course they utilize the latest of the LED technology to ensure best safety and visibility. Ground clearance is big, so you will have to take a big step while going inside the Grand Wagoneer. We are still uncertain about available colors for the exterior but we know there is a special trim. This is the Carbide edition. A simple appearance package that colors your Wagoneer in black glossy paint. The grille is black onyx as well, wheels get some black paint, and it has a huge sunroof with 3 panes. Inside will also get this black treatment.

There are namely two powertrain options for the 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. First up we have an entry level 3.0 liter twin turbo V6. This beast produced 420 horsepower and 468 pound feet of torque. This is enough to move the gargantuan Wagoneer around. There is a beefier version of this engine that boasts 510 horsepower and 500 pound feet of torque.

Jeep has plans to electrify the Grand Wagoneer, although we are not sure when. They will have help from Stellantis which has a proven track record of successfully electrifying vehicles. It can tow up to 10000 pounds and has a special Selec-Terrain system for every occasion. Aluminum was used on many occasions to try and save weight on this beast.
