The all-new 2021 Lamborghini Urus will officially arrive by the end of the year. According to our sources, this luxury SUV will get mid-cycle refreshments. Of course, it is far from complete redesign but the latest updates are more than welcome. Urus will continue to offer an aggressive appearance and its sporty vibe.
The second-gen Urus SUV won’t change in terms of performance. That means the powerful twin-turbo V8 will largely remain. The interior will host numerous upgrades, mostly minor. Lamborghini will look to improve the vehicle’s safety and try to make this SUV more customizable.
2021 Urus Exterior Facelift
As we said, the new 2021 Lamborghini Urus will remain in terms of exterior design. The latest refreshments are not so visible as the previous one. Urus will continue to offer its athletic stance and sporty appearance. The front fascia looks simply dominating with the honeycomb grille and distinctive LED headlights. Luxury SUV already looks impressive so there is no need for drastic changes at the moment.
To the side, character lines are unchanged for 2021, along with the side mirrors, wheels, and doors. Urus offers its astonishing 22-inch wheels that are optional and more than recommendable. Moreover, black calipers are optional as well. The back of the vehicle will only get small refinement of the taillights.
Interior Updates
The forthcoming 2021 Lamborghini Urus should get more significant interior upgrades. That means the interior updates are more drastic than the updates of the exterior design. On the other hand, Lamborghini will mostly improve the high-tech category. That includes new driver-assistance features and safety aids. As for the rest of the interior, the infotainment system will be updated as well. Urus offers a famous Jet-fighter design that looks really impressive.
There is a start button hidden beneath the red flip cover. Moreover, the gear shifter looks very unique. Urus also hosts faux-suede materials, besides various carbon-fiber trims. Lamborghini will once again opt for dual-screen layout and the comfort should largely remain. There are almost 22 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats. You can also add rear bucket seats but the cargo area capacity will be lower.
Twin-Turbo V8 Provides Amazing Performance
The second-gen 2021 Lamborghini Urus will continue to ride on a powerful V8 engine. This twin-turbo gasoline engine can produce 641 horsepower. Urus is available with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system. Performance is astonishing, including the acceleration that is rated at 3.2 seconds from 0 to 60 mph.
Urus is one of the quickest SUVs in the segment and on the markets generally. Its top speed has been estimated at 190 mph. Lambo also offers special mechanical setups such as carbon-ceramic brakes and unique suspension. Still, you can’t count on the good fuel economy. Whatsoever, Urus has been rated at 12 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway.
2021 Lamborghini Urus Price and Release Date
The price of the new 2021 Lamborghini Urus will start at around $210,000 once again. Of course, the price could also make a slight jump but we don’t see that happening. Urus SUV is one of the most expensive and most luxurious models in the segment. It should hit the dealerships by the end of the year, most likely in the last quarter for 2020.
