According to the latest reports, a new 2021 Infiniti QX30 will arrive with mid-cycle improvements. The arriving subcompact crossover will mostly hit the roads as a carryover. However, some parts will gain subtle updates, mostly visual. On the other hand, Infiniti will look to improve the safety department. Thanks to that, you can expect additional driver-assistance systems.
The exterior will remain unique and very sleek. The interior is extremely modern and the level of comfort is at a high level. Furthermore, QX30 comes with long list of standard equipment. Even the base model feels and looks premium but it is the upper trim levels that are looking luxurious.
2021 QX30 Exterior Changes
The forthcoming 2021 Infiniti QX30 will get minor visual updates. That includes small changes on the front fascia, mostly. The grille is slightly wider and the headlights have been reshaped. The rear part will host bolder bumper and reshaped taillight units. The side profile should largely remain and that includes standard and optional wheels.
The 2021 QX30 crossover will keep its current dimensions and shape. Moreover, that means the current platform is available once again. The exterior design looks striking and Infiniti’s recognizable design language is present. Gloss-black or body-colored features are available on the upper trim levels.
Interior Details
The all-new 2021 Infiniti QX30 offers a very upright interior design. That also includes a lot of high-quality materials. Still, the interior is mostly a carryover. This subcompact crossover provides solid cabin space in a two-row five-seat configuration. While the front passengers can enjoy ample legroom, second-row occupants will fill tight in the back. Cargo capacity is far from impressive and is rated at 19.2 cubic feet. Still, you can expect cargo capacity to 34 cubics with rear seats folded flat.
On the other hand, a long list of standard features is a good thing about this subcompact crossover. Base trim level offers a 7-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker audio system and satellite radio. Wi-Fi hotspot is optional, along with the panoramic sunroof. For 2021, Infiniti QX30 will only get additional safety aids. That includes driver-assistance features such as forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking.
Engine Specs
In terms of performance, a new 2021 Infiniti QX30 will offer two reliable engines. The first engine option is a smaller 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline with 210 horses and 260 lb-ft of torque. This unit is available with a 7-speed automatic transmission and it provides impressive fuel economy ratings. 24 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway is more than enough to beat its subcompact competitors. Well, most of the rivals.
An optional 2.2-liter turbodiesel is good for 170 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Some sources are saying the U.S. will get another optional gasoline unit. Moreover, this diesel powertrain will only be available in Europe.
2021 Infiniti QX30 Price and Release Date
