Peugeot 3008 Gets Coupe-Like Styling
As we said, the new 2022 Peugeot 3008 will look sportier than its predecessor. Peugeot opted for a coupe-like design so the new model will look sleeker and more attractive than ever before. Thanks to that, Peugeot 3008 will depart from its roots. New model will move away from its practicality and it will be transformed into a very stylish SUV. The current model looks fresh but its design is similar to the Peugeot 208 and 2008 models.
However, a new variant will take a different turn. Peugeot will deliver new LED daytime running lights and darkened taillights. Both the front and rear fascia will look sharper and the roof is more sloping now. The upcoming Peugeot 3008 will remain a five-door SUV but its sloping roofline will slightly reduce the interior headroom.

Thanks to that, this SUV can accommodate all sorts of powertrain options, including gasoline, diesel, plug-in hybrid, and even electric variants. The mild-hybrid system can be paired with both gasoline and diesel engines, which is great. The emissions and fuel consumption are significantly reduced, finally. However, the highlight of the 2022 model is its all-electric variant.
This version comes with a 50kWh battery and a 135 hp motor. The same setup can be found in Peugeot e-208 and e-2008 models. The gasoline 1.6-liter and 1.2-liter turbo engines are available once again. A 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter diesel variants are available as well. We are waiting for official specs because Peugeot promised small improvements in terms of performances.
2022 Peugeot 3008 Price and Release Date
The price of the all-new 2022 Peugeot 3008 will start at around $36,000. That means this SUV costs more than its competitors such as Skoda Karoq and Nissan Qashqai. The sales will begin in the first quarter of 2022 and Peugeot is yet to release official specs.
