Interior Changes
This SUV will continue to offer a very modern and spacious cabin. The 2022 Nissan Murano is a five-seat model and even the rear occupants can enjoy ample legroom. The cargo area is also generous and folding the rear seats opens up to 67 cubic feet of space. On the other hand, rivals such as 2021 Honda Passport or the new 2022 Subaru Outback hybrid are offering even more room. Murano SUV offers four trim levels.
The base S trim comes with manual-adjustable seats, cloth upholstery, and a smaller touchscreen option. On the other hand, Platinum is the top-of-the-range variant that adds plenty of luxury. New Platform Suggests Some Sort of Electrification
Under the hood, a new 2022 Nissan Murano offers only one engine. It is 3.5-liter V6 gasoline with 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. A front-wheel-drive system is standard and Nissan offers CVT transmissions. Murano can tow up to 1,500 pounds, which is far from the segment leaders such as Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The big news is that the all-new Murano could get a new platform. If this truly happens, Murano will deploy both hybrid and electric powertrain options. 2022 Nissan Murano Price, Release Date
The all-new 2022 Nissan Murano will cost around $32,000. On the other hand, its range-topping Platinum trim is available for almost $50,000. The sales will begin in the second half of 2021. Lastly, we are waiting for Nissan to reveal more details, which should happen in the coming weeks.
