Nissan will continue with sales of its X-Trail/Rogue model. The 2020 Nissan X-Trail will introduce plenty of new upgrades. Changes are not that radical but the current model already arrived with a significant facelift. New X-Trail will gain new styling cues and interior will offer more standard equipment. There will be two rows of seats and a room for five passengers.
Thanks to the numerous engine choices and different trim levels, X-Trail is a very customizable crossover. On top of that, X-Trail is Nissan’ largest crossover SUV sold in Europe. Its sibling, the Rogue, is available in North America. Two models are almost the same and only a few minor things set them apart.
New Nissan X-Trail Exterior Facelift
The forthcoming 2020 Nissan X-Trail will continue to ride on the same platform. Moreover, dimensions are exactly the same as on the current model. New X-Trail will get cleaner design this time. On the other hand, the front and rear fascia will look sharper and sportier. The new model definitely looks more attractive than its predecessor.
Some cues are the same as the cues on the Qashqai model. The front part will keep its V-Motion grille and relatively new LED headlights. The 2020 X-Trail will offer optional rear roof spoiler and body-colored features. Furthermore, the panoramic roof is available once again and it is optional as well.
Exterior Colors
The all-new 2020 Nissan X-Trail will continue to offer gorgeous exterior paints. There will be seven different colors in the offer. Graphite Gray and Titanium Grey are available for the start. Also, X-Trail is available in Quartz Silver and Pearl White paints. You can paint this compact SUV in Diamond Black and Sapphire Blue. For the end, Nissan offers an exclusive Champagne Gold color.
X-Trail Interior
The interior of the arriving compact SUV will get new modern features. Whatsoever, the new 2020 Nissan X-Trail comes with more standard equipment. Comfort will be great, as always. Two-Tier dashboard design is present once again. The first part of the dash sports climate controls and the second part is responsible for the infotainment system. All-new driver’ display is optional and it offers a great interface.
Leather upholstery is optional as well. However, base upholstery offers more than upscale feel from the inside. The cabin is quiet and the ride is very comfortable. There will be room for five passengers. However, you can buy an optional third row that will expand the numbers of seats to seven.
Hybrid Speculations
Under the bonnet, Nissan won’t introduce changes. The 2020 Nissan X-Trail will ride on the same lineup as the current model. The lineup includes two gasoline and a single diesel drivetrain. For the start, the standard engine is 2.0-liter gasoline that is producing 145 horsepower. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline unit is larger and optional. This engine will generate 170 hp.
When it comes to diesel option, it is a 1.6-liter engine that is available only in certain countries only. The hybrid powertrain is the newest speculation. X-Trail Hybrid will look to mate a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with the single electric generator and battery pack. This model could produce over 200 horsepower and it will offer around 35 mpg combined.
2020 Nissan X-Trail Price and Release Date
This compact crossover will cost $24,500. It is the largest company’s SUV that is available in Europe. The 2020 Nissan X-Trail will arrive this fall.
Nissan Rogue is the model for the United States. X-Trail and Rogue will offer small differences only. X-Trail is available in Europe, Mexico, Australia, and some Asian countries.
