2020 Nissan Rogue: Redesign, Hybrid, Arrival

The carmaker is working on the new 2020 Nissan Rogue, but at the moment we still don’t have the precise information if it is going to be fully refreshed. On the other hand, it is very likely that we will have to wait for the 2021 model year to see some major upgrades. However, the 2020 model year will most likely get the same engines as before and perhaps some upgrades on the technology front.

2020 Nissan Rogue engines and performances

Most versions of the upcoming 2020 Nissan Rogue will be powered by the same unit found in the current model. It is a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine which will be able to produce 170 horsepower and the torque of 175 pound-feet. The engine will be mated to a continuously variable transmission and will come standard with front-wheel drive system. However, the all-wheel drive configuration will be available for all the trim levels. The FWD model will be rated at 26/33/29 mpg. Connected to all-wheel drive system, it gets 25 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway, and 27 mpg combined.

At the moment, it is still uncertain if the 2020 Nissan Rogue will be completely overhauled or we will have to wait for the 2021 model year to see some major improvements. Still, the carmaker has revealed the new Nissan Xmotion model with three rows of seats and the new autonomous driving technology. However, it doesn’t mean that it is going to be the next Rogue model.
