On the other hand, the latest news claims that the new 2020 Mazda CX-3 will get the new SkyActiv-X engine beneath its hood and it will be more powerful this time. And it is expected to be a 2.0-liter engine which will be able to deliver around 187 horses and 169 lb-ft of torque. The engine will work with either six-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox.

The exterior and interior design

First of all, the new 2020 Mazda CX-3 will be underpinned with a new platform and it is the new SkyActiv II architecture. So, the new CX-3 will be larger than the previous model and it will now be 171.2 inches long. This will also affect the interior which will be more spacious and therefore cozier than before. Furthermore, this platform will be also stronger and stiffer than the previous platforms and it will feature the new torsion beam rear suspension.

Visually, the new 2020 Mazda CX-3 will probably be slightly revised but it will keep its long nose, sleek design and sporty silhouette. However, we assume that it could get some small revisions all over the body which will make it look even more attractive.
